Copyright law, DMCA notices, hosting provider complaints — most writers shouldn't need to know any of this. When your content is stolen, report it to us and we handle everything. You just write.
We respond within 48 hours
Every report is reviewed by a real person. You'll hear back within 48 hours with a status update and a clear next step. No automated responses, no being ignored.
Our process
What happens when you report stolen content
You report it
Fill in the report form in your author dashboard — just the story name and the URL where you found it. Takes 2 minutes.
We verify and prepare the DMCA notice
We confirm the content is yours and prepare a formal DMCA takedown notice on your behalf, citing IyalHub as the original publisher.
We file with Google and the hosting provider
A DMCA notice is sent to Google (removes it from search results) and directly to the infringing site's hosting provider (often takes the page down entirely).
We keep you updated
You'll receive updates as each action is completed. Google removals typically take 3–7 days. Hosting provider responses vary but are often faster.
Content removed
In most cases, stolen content disappears from search results and often from the infringing site entirely. We document everything in case further action is needed.

Invisible content fingerprinting
Every chapter carries a hidden digital fingerprint. When copied text appears elsewhere, we can trace which chapter it came from.
Visible attribution
IyalHub.com is embedded in your chapter text. Casual sharing carries your story's origin automatically.
Rate limiting
Automated scraping is blocked at the API level. Bulk theft requires human effort — we make it impractical.
Copyright notice
Every chapter page displays a formal copyright notice in your name, establishing your claim publicly.
Honest limits
What we can't guarantee
We believe writers deserve honesty, not false promises.
No platform can prevent a determined person from manually retyping your story. Technology slows copying; it cannot stop it entirely.
DMCA takedowns work well in countries that honour them (US, EU, UK). Some hosting providers in other regions are slower or non-responsive.
If someone copies a paragraph to share on social media with credit, we consider that free promotion — not theft. We focus on bulk reproduction without attribution.
We are not lawyers. For serious commercial theft, we will support you but recommend seeking legal counsel.
